Trail Head Cyclery Fall 2018 Dirt Demo
November 2, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - November 4, 2018 @ 4:00 pm$40
It’s time to demo some bikes!
11-2, 11-3, 11-4
Once again, we shall demo a ship ton of bikes in Santa Teresa for you and your friends! This is a great opportunity to compare bikes on the same day without committing to several hours of riding or renting multiple bikes at once.
(*Important note. The shop will be closed both Saturday and Sunday. We will have all hands on deck to talk bikes up at the demo!)
Santa Teresa County Park is the best place to test mountain bikes around here because it is laced with single-tracks and jeep roads to cover all sorts of terrain, has a lot of parking and is easy to get to. Plus, it’s closer to Trail Head Cyclery than Downieville… And you can do a lap in less than 40 minutes.
Committing to you, our local MTB community, our Dirt Demo is 3 days of radness! Friday we kick off at noon and go til 5:00. Saturday and Sunday 9 AM- 4 PM. No reservations will be taken, so show up early if you have a certain model you hope to secure, or time it out a lap… That said, remember how I said loops were less than 40 minutes? Bikes will not be gone all day so you can lurk around and snag it when it returns!
(* Another note. We will have electric boosted 2019 model LEVO FSR’s! Not just a couple, but 2 smalls, 5 mediums, 4 larges and 3 XL. This kind of fun is really like cheating…)
Specialized and Ibis will be out with their amazing demo fleets. Yeti and Transition will return for our Spring Dirt Demo May 3,4,5. We do have a limited number of Yeti and Transition in our own demo fleet. Far below you can find the list of bikes we’ll be bringing out there! If you are curious about models and sizes in our own shop demo fleet, check out our demo booking page.
There is a parking fee for Santa Teresa Park, do stop and get a day pass as they do ticket! As always, Trail Head will be collecting $40 for a day pass that gets you access to ride as many bikes as you can for the day. You will also get a plate of tacos and have access to as many snacks and drinks as you need to keep riding! Your $40 comes back to you in a store credit so it’s really a wash. Spend it up there or when you visit the shop next.
+ You need to bring a valid form of ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) with a matching credit card that will be held while you enjoy riding.
+ You also need to bring a helmet, water bottles/hydrator pack and any standard riding gear.
+ We have lots of pedals, but there is always the chance we could come up short at times… So, we always encourage folks to bring their pedals if they can!
Gonna be sunny and warm folks! It’s why we spend so much to live here… But bring some sunscreen and a hat for between rides. Take lots of pictures of the bikes your riding while out on the trails to help document what you liked or not. Share ’em with your riding buddies and have a good time. These bikes are fun to ride and the trails are too! Plus, take a look at all these sponsors showing up to share the love. Between rides you can check out the latest product while snacking on tacos!
Ride hard, take chances…
